Market Watch (Şeker Yatırım)

The BIST100 Index started Wednesday on a negative trend, fluctuated in a narrow band during the day and closed at 9,649.53, down 0.68%. While the Industrial Index rose by a limited 0.04%, the Banking Index decreased by 2.23%. The BIST, which rose strongly with reaction purchases at the start of the week, recorded limited profit sales yesterday. We think that the balancing process in the markets will continue in the short term, with domestic news flows closely followed. On the global side, Trump's announcement that a 25% tariff will be applied to automobile imports as of next week suppressed risk appetite shortly ahead of April 2, when other tariffs will be announced. Yesterday, the U.S. stock markets completed the day with losses of up to 2%. While a reaction increase was observed in the U.S. futures this morning, Asian stock markets are on a mixed course, and German DAX futures are displaying a negative trend. Today's data calendar includes the U.S. 4th Quarter final growth data. The VIOP30 Index completed the evening session up 0.43%. Locally, we expect the Benchmark Index to start Thursday flat and continue its fluctuating course throughout the day. SUPPORT: 9,500 - 9,400 RESISTANCE: 9,800 - 9,900.
