Market Watch (Şeker Yatırım)

Outlook:
The BIST100 Index started Thursday on a positive trend and a price gap, maintained its strength throughout the day and closed at 9,842.15, up 1.26%. The Industrial Index gained 1.39% and the Banking Index rose 0.44%. Despite the reaction purchases recorded at the BIST yesterday, the technical outlook remains weak. On the local macroeconomic data front the CBRT's first inflation report of the year is out today. The main topics to be followed by the market will be the outlook for the 2025-2027 inflation forecast path and messages to be given regarding the monetary stance. The BoE meeting was followed in global markets yesterday; the bank cut the interest rate by 25 bps, as expected, to 4.50%. While European stock markets closed yesterday with increases of over 1%, the U.S. stock markets gave only a slightly positive performance. This morning, German DAX futures are positive, U.S. futures are negative, and Asian stock markets are mixed. Investors in Asia will follow Japanese Prime Minister Ishiba's first meeting with President Trump today. Markets will also follow non-farm employment data to be announced in the USA. The data is expected to indicate an increase of 175k. Markets will continue to scope developments regarding trade wars. The VIOP30 Index completed the evening session up 0.04%. Locally, we expect the Benchmark Index to start Friday with reaction purchases. Later on in the day, if purchases accelerate with volume support upward movement should strengthen. SUPPORT: 9,750 - 9,650 RESISTANCE: 9,950 - 10,150.
