Outlook:
The BIST100 Index started Thursday on a positive trend, leaving a price gap and maintained its positive trend throughout the day, closed the day at 9,914.68, up 1.38%. While the Industrial Index increased by 0.40%, the Banking Index diverged positively, up 1.83%. Reaction purchases was observed in BIST yesterday, with the support of the increase in global risk appetite. In general, we expect the fluctuation to continue as there are no significant expectations in the short term. Yesterday, global markets followed the PPI data announced in the USA. The data showed a monthly increase of 0.4% and an annual increase of 3.5%, against the expectations of a 0.3% monthly increase and 3.2% annual increase. However, the fact that the data gave moderate signals for the core PCE in its details supported the risk appetite. In addition, the statement made after the phone call between the U.S. President Trump and Russian President Putin that they agreed on a ceasefire regarding Ukraine was another factor that supported the global risk appetite. Yesterday, the U.S. stock markets increased by up to 1.5% and European stock markets by up to 2.1%. This morning, German DAX futures are negative, the U.S. futures are positive, and Asian stock markets are mixed. Today, global markets will follow the industrial production and capacity utilization rate data from the USA. VIOP30 Index completed the evening session up 0.21%. Locally, we expect the Benchmark Index to have a limited positive start to the day and then follow a fluctuating course. SUPPORT: 9,850 - 9,750 RESISTANCE: 10,000 - 10,150
